Who turned out the lights. Should have been on an album.

Also the live cover of "there's gonna be a showdown" is awesome.

I've just compiled my own versions of rare studio tracks. The early EPs neatly fit onto one CD - current fave "Frog", complete with horns. The b-sides to all singles make two and a bit CDs, namely 1993-96 (Adam's Ribs to Tuesday), 1997-2001 (Trike to KIck A Hole), and 2002 onwards (Who Put The Devil to Givin' Up). "Tourism" is still one of my faves, very Exile on Main St. If anyone asks I can supply the tracklistings.
That doesn't include bonus discs, soundtracks, live sets or other assorted rarities, which I'm guessing someone else has already sorted for Ged, and I'm still sorting for myself.

As with my 'what happen to youami singles' thread, singles are the only way we can hear these rogers moments that don't make the cut for the LPs. TIM PUT OUT ALL OF YOUR TUNES WE F***** NEED THEM (meltdown over)

It's hard to choose a favourite B-side, but I'd have to say that Tourism is just an amazing rocker....I heard them play it live at redfern Oval in 99 or 2000 when they played the charity concert for keeping the rabbitos alive in the NRL, I hadn't heard the song before and it blew my head off, lyrically I thought it was an interesting observation...there really is nothing more unatural than a bus load of tourists.

'gasoline for two' is incredible and of course we heard the live version on saturday night round ten.

My favourite You am I rarity is the soliders single on vinyl so 'six' is a bit of classic to me anyway.

also 'When you got dry' I mean whats better than Greg Hitchcock playing slide guitar.......cracker of a song, very much a transition songwriting period for rogers.......I love talking about you ami b-sides
When they let him out in '71 he'd lost a little weight
But he dressed like Jimmy Cagney and I swear he did look great.

Paragon Cafe from Dress Me Slowly disc 2 (Temperence Union) - hard to pick an all time best Tim/You Am I song but at times this has been it for me.

Here's a live version:

I've always loved Useless Information. Thought that could've been a single itself. Who Turned Out The Lights is awesome too. Hi Way Fi, Six, Boulder Fair... Time for a "B-Sides & Rarities" compilation I think!
